Awards and such…

I am sooooo behind in announcing the blog awards I have received! I always tell people I will get the award up and for whatever reason I totally air-brain it… if you are one of those blog awards people… Let me know. I will add you to this post. And I am so very sorry it’s taken me so long to get my thank you’s up!

Blame the 6 kids who suck out the brain power… Or the three emails I still haven’t received… or just the general holes in my brain. We are talking #EisleyEpic here.

OKAY, so first award I can recall getting is from shawnawks at her blog The Forever Blog. It’s called the Sweety award… she said when she gave me the award, “Eisley Jacobs (Who I just found on Twitter and started following her blog and think she’s hilarious!)” And I responded… “SQUEAL!!! She likes me, she really likes me!” #TrueStory. It might be the 24 hours with NO sustance talking, but I was tickled to receive this award. Thanks Shawna! That was very sweet of you!

I recall getting a SUNSHINE AWARD from Harley Palmer at her blog The Labotomy of a Writer I think it says I have to pass it on to twelve people but uhhhh, right now if I saw the sun I would turn to dust. So when I am able to see the sun again. I will totally share.

I am so behind in recognizing Anne Riley for the awards I have received from her! But I’m such a bad acceptance speech writer… I just hesitate. So I have much thankfulness to poor out of my heart for Anne. She nominated me for THE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS award and the ONE LOVELY BLOG award. She also nominated me for one of the most hilarious blog awards running around. She and a few others… It was called the “CREATIVE BLOGGER” award… or as some of us were calling it… the “YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR” award. Normally, I would find offense to such an award… BUT really, as a fiction writer… you must EMBRACE the fact you are a good liar… when it most counts

I also received the CIRCLE OF FRIENDS award from Boudreau Freret at The Adventures of B. Freret. Boudreau is by far the wittiest guy on twitter… when he tweets. He is also one of the first people I “friended” on twitter. So that says MUCH. He is a good good guy with mad guitar skilz. But don’t let me sway you to his personality… you check him out!
