Chapter 8… and moving along.

So my rewrite is going awesome. I’m on Chapter 8 and things are just flowing so well with the switch to first person. However, my MS is getting heavier… like 3,000 words heavier at the moment! Oops!

I guess that just means I can cut out that one scene… you know the one… the one that doesn’t matter at all… the one that would have ended up on the cutting room floor anyway. So I can safely cut it and not feel bad.

My goals are 2500 read, edited, and written each day… 2500 total between the three. If I do that, I should get the rewrite done in 30 days or less. That is if every day agrees with my goal. Today wasn’t agreeing well. BUT the day isn’t over, so I am hopeful.

As for my Ethiopia goals (Read that post here), I am a few sponsors down from my May 1st goal! Below is my updated sponsorship chart. I am so thankful to those who have already saw the vision of this trip and sponsored me. My heart just overflows with joy when I realize that I am going to Ethiopia and my friends and family are helping make it happen. I started out needing 125 people to believe in this trip… and I am down to 93… That’s phenomenal! I feel so blessed.
