My dear friend Caroline Valdez Miller has been called to go on a Medical Mission to Haiti. As one can expect, making the commitment for a trip of this caliber is hard. Not only do you have to raise money for airfare, food, and accommodations but they have to raise money for medical supplies. They are going up to a remote village in Haiti that people don’t travel to. It’s two hours on foot and they are bringing things that you and I take for granted. Things that we can purchase over the counter for just a few dollars. Vitamins, pain relievers, band-aids, gauze, antibacterial ointments, toothpaste, stuff that every one of us has in our cupboards, but these people have non of.
Why does this concern you? Because Caroline is an awesome woman… I mean seriously. She has a heart of gold and she has been called to go. She is raising funds right now to purchase medical supplies for their team. If you have a heart for Missions or Haiti, would you consider donating?
