Those of you who read this post… I am sure you are dying for an update… Ha!

It’s been about eighteen days since my proclamation and I am happy to say things are going well. I should have more runs behind me, but life thwarts running some days. I ran a couple days at home, which was just me trying to not be so embarrassed when I finally got together with my pal (who is reading right now, Good morning Deb!) because of how out of shape I actually was… He he he… and then a couple times with my pal.

The first day we ran together was hard. I won’t lie… it was hard on us both! I didn’t stretch my glutes very well and ended up with a major cramp in that large piece of muscle that lasted the duration of my run, but on I ran! It was sore for the 24 hours following, but by the next day things were peachy! And I was ready to run again!

The second time, much better. In fact when we got done with our week 1 program for Couch to 5K we both felt invigorated! Like we could take on the world. Now we both understand why people get addicted to this.

The most exciting part… both of us totally felt like we could be to the 5K spot by May… which is amazing! Truly.

I wish I could communicate just how amazing it really is… but you just have to trust me.

On the writing topic, not much new on the horizon. Still plugging away at both Unseen and Runaway Choices. Need to still plot Book 3… oh and get out that query letter. Yah… needs to happen. SOON! I have goals to keep.

I hope your day is awesome and you get everything done that you need to. I know I will be working hard towards that.

Hey Eisley! I can't wait to run with you again! I wasn't even sore the last time! (Although, I realize I'm totally jinxing myself by typing that...I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow! Ha!) I'm so glad you encouraged me to do this. I love it! And I'm honored to be your pal! (grin) You are such a blessing to me!!

Congratulations on the running! You are a stronger woman than me if you can keep that up. I prefer to walk really, really quickly instead. Ha!
