Tech series on the horizon…

No, I am not going to write one! Goodness that would be more then I can chew ;)

I am actually referring to a few blog posts on the technicalities of writing, editing, formatting, submitting, etc. Many of the tweets/blogs I see about submitting proposals, queries and partials tend to be full of panic because people don’t know how to format in Microsoft Word (any year). Or they have tried to universally change something like the word “Ian” to “Mike” and you now have things like “ChristMike”, “MartMike”, “SebastMike” or something of the sort. Or they sent their MS to a beta reader who made changes they didn’t agree with. And now that they have a request they have no idea how to UNDO it without tons of work because the agent wants it ASAP!

Well, don’t panic.

My next series is just for you! But I need to know what you want to learn to do first. Format your MS to generic guidelines? Double space your whole MS? Set your indents so that you aren’t using the dreaded tab key? Take out the extra spaces because your fingers were trained to do two spaces after a period rather then one (without going thru the whole MS)? Embed PDF files on your website? Something else I haven’t mentioned?

My desire is to give my knowledge to you… so speak up. What has been bugging you that you can’t figure out. If you have a specific MS/PAGE you want to share, let me know and I will contact you and use your page in the demo/fix. If you want me to use a generic page, I will do that too.
