Reviews!

The dragon is happy. I mean he is realllllly happy with the reviews that are coming in for his adventures. Meia is of course happy too, but dragons get extra excited when people are talking about them and believing. It’s kinda like believing in fairies… it makes them stronger and makes their wings stronger. So thanks.

*ahem*

And today, the dragon is REALLY happy because two reviews have been posted today for your reading pleasure!

The first up, like promised, Pauline Campos of Aspiring Mama. A week or so before launch Pauline asked me if she could review Born to be a Dragon. Of course I squealed and freaked out. I know Pauline from twitter and I knew she was a hard critic… which of course makes an author VERY nervous. But I sent it to her anyway and held my breath. Here are the results:

I’ve read the review… and I cried. Did I cry from happiness or horror? I guess you will have to click to find out.

Second, we have my online and in real life (IRL) friend, SM. Blooding whom we call affectionately call Frankie. She’s a good friend of the family (my kids thing she is their auntie ;) ) and she’s one of my critique partners. I know what you are thinking, she must be biased.

HOWEVER, she’d never read anything from Dragons before it was published. I was pitching Dragons when I met her, so it was already done. Crit partners are for unfinished work. So, when the book came out she was eager to get her hands on it. In fact, she got an uncorrected proof first. I told her to close  her eyes at the typos or misformats. She might have.. or maybe not? You be the judge…

Again, another review that made me get all teary and feel very blessed.
I hope you will go and check these reviews out and leave a comment. :)
