Friday’s come with praise around here! So I am going to shout my praises to some people/posts you should definitely check out for the Friday FIVE!

I will even give them my very own award… But feel free not to post it on your website/blog… it’s just me

1. First of all, my long time friend @ChrisPugh. We met in my home town of Ukiah, CA on the Redwood Freenet and have been pals ever since. His tweets are always very tech savvy and sometimes downright funny, like this one: Bento Box. Most of the time his posts give me chatter fodder with the people IRL. Stuff they didn’t know about, like the Japanese surgeon who used his ipad in surgery! But be warned, Chris and I don’t see eye to eye on religious topics, so some of his tweets may make you gasp… you just move past those

2. Another fellow California native, Nathan Bransford over at Curtis Brown LTD is another one to follow on twitter and follow his blog. The reasons why are way to vast to name… but he is insightful, on the top of the writing industry and funny to boot. His blog is completely packed full of valuable information on the industry. Questions that you thought you would never have… he answers! And then you realized you needed to know it.

3. Advanced Fiction Writing is a great resource too. I am pulling them out today because of this post On Pitching a Series of Novels

4. CA Marshall also deserves a shout out. She is trying to vamp up her freelance editing business and he is VERY GOOD with competitive prices! She is witty, cute and just so darn likeable. Check her out on her website, on twitter or roaming around the blogosphere.

5. Heather McCorkle is also a fabulous resource for awesome. Her blog is always relevant and has great topics that apply to the everyday writers life. You can find her on twitter too where she is just a ray of sunshine to LOTS of people!
