You all can blame @BlanchardAuthor for this one! For the record… I never back down from a challenge, but I know NOTHING about Battlestar Galactica. I know tons about Harry Potter… so maybe this will be mildly entertaining.
Mildly.
But I think my graphic rocks!
And yes, that was me that created this graphic… She can write and has mad PhotoShop Skilz… Haha… Ahem…
The robots in the enchanted picture moved quickly through the frame, their red eyes piercing through the page. One clutched the neck of a nearby human, who struggled to free himself. His eyes pleaded with the three friends huddled around the book.
“Harry, look at this,” said Hermione, pulling the book closer to her nose. “It says here that the Cylons only goal is the extermination of the human race. We might be magicians, but we’re still part of the human race.”
Ron glared at Hermione and grabbed the enchanted book from her clutches. “We’re not daft, we know what it means.”
Hermione’s eyebrows narrowed. She spun on her heels and headed down the isle of the library she’d just come down.
“Ron, I really wish you two would kiss and make up already,” Harry said, taking the book from Ron.
“She’s the one–”
“I don’t care whose fault it is, I’m tired of listening to the two of bicker about. We’ve more important matters to attend to, like the salvation of the human race from these cyborgs, or whatever she called them.”
The two boys eyes searched the book for details of the Cylon Colonies.
Harry’s fingers hovered over the page as he read aloud, “Of the entire Colonial battle fleet, only the Battlestar Galactica, a gigantic battleship and spacecraft carrier, appears to have survived the Cylon conflagration. Said to be on their last reserves, they have been signaling for help but none has arrived.”
Ron bit the side of his lip and watched Harry’s face as he contorted it in thought. “I don’t like that look.”
“What look?”
“The look that says we’ve got to do something to help,” said Hermione rounding the corner again. “We don’t have a choice.”
“No!” Ron said, snapping the book shut. “I’m not a bloody astronaut and neither are you,” he said pointing to Harry. “I don’t really know about her, I suppose it’s possible.”
Hermione grabbed the book from Ron and smacked him on the arm.
Ron recoiled in pain.
“We’ve got to go Ron. This is the Book of Needs, its stories only appear to those whose talents can help. It’s no mistake we have seen this plea.”
“Why’d she have to go and open it anyway?” Ron crossed his arms like a two-year-old throwing a tantrum.
Harry groaned and took his wand from his pocket. Hermione joined him at the nearby table where she set the book upon it and opened to the correct page.
“Are you coming or not Ron?” Hermione’s tone was short and disgusted.
“And let you guys die without me, I bloody think not.”
Harry grinned at his two friends who stood beside him. “I will use the Accio spell to summon the portkey to the Battlestar Galactica. Once it’s here, I’ll count to three and we’ll grab it together. Ready?”
Ron grunted.
Hermione flipped her hair back and extracted her wand from her pocket. “Ready when you are Harry.”
(ooooh and that is where I’ll end it… I know you didn’t get to see them make it to space. BUT if I had more time maybe I would let them kill a few cylons with the Avada Kedavra curse or something.
Really it would have been boring… Potter wins… every time. )
Evanesco!
*poof*
(Oh and another thing… I wrote this in 15 minutes. So don’t judge for the typos.)

Ha! That’s awesome!
You captured the three friends at Hogwartz, but I think the story should have started with poof and moved on to Harry meeting Commander Adama. Would you mind if I did a sequel?
Also gonna tweet your page and Facebook it.
Oh, and I write my stories as fast as I can, but I edit pretty hard for typos before I post them. Don’t always catch them all, but you made a couple, and they jarred me as I was reading. Write in a flash–good. Edit before releaseing to the world–necessary.
LOVE this!!! You really captured Harry,Hermione and Ron. I haven’t seen Battlestar Galactica since the original was on years ago. I was but a wee slip of a babe…
Also, do the sequel! I knew it should probably start in space BUT I didn’t know anything about Battlestar Galactica. I goggled the Cylons and the name of the ship
Hee hee.
ROTFL… OH NO, I really did make some stupid typos LOL! whoops.
