It’s getting easier to press the send button on query letters. Why? Well, because I realize that just because one agent says no, doesn’t mean the next won’t say yes! The worst that can happen when you query is that you get a note saying “It’s not right for me or my agency at this time.”
Which sometimes can be a blow, considering it’s your tip top agent! But at the same time, I think it’s good for your character to get a no. It helps move your forward and to the final goal of publication.
So yes, I did push send on five queries this morning… and I feel pretty good about it. I am actually thinking I will get at least one partial or full out of these requests. Not holding my breath, but I am crossing my fingers. *wink*

Good for you Eisley! I’m glad it’s getting easier. I’ll remember that when I finally click my first send.
