Well, my weekend away was awesome. I could have used a little more sleep (blame my stupid internal time clock, no one else) but it was an entirely fabulous weekend! We had great food, great company and some great writing times! Having sent a partial to an agent before I left, I knew I needed to really examine the RINGS OF TIME MS and objectively see what she saw. I love the story. My goals this week…

It’s my birthday week… yes, I am turning older… a whole year older. How does that happen? In any event, if I don’t make goals for the week, things aren’t going to go as well as they could. Turning older takes thought and consideration. If I don’t have it written down, I just might think too much about the fact I am almost old…er. So, goals… Yes. Finish my UNSEEN CHRONICLE on Good Friday events. Its a long one… I thought it would be a quick 2K story… now pushing 4 and I am not done yet. I am not sure why I didn’t expect that....

Wow, that time already?

Tuesday we find out if I made it to the next round of ABNA… I am not sure if I’m more happy or shocked really. I can’t believe it’s already been a month but I am glad I don’t have to wait much longer. In other news, I think I have decided to record myself reading the first chapters of my novels, though this might be a super challenge since I have 6 kids in the house usually. I did my first pass tonight, on Runaway Choices, and it went okay. Only fumbled a few words… and snorted at myself in the recording. So maybe this is a terrible idea? Plus I am rotten...
